I grew up accustomed to high standards in a military family. I was born at Walter Read Army Hospital to a recent West Point graduate who met my mother at the Army-Navy football game. I took my first steps at Fort Meade, Maryland. A year later, I met my younger twin brothers -- 21 years later I saw them go on to graduate from Annapolis and serve in the Marines and Navy. My entire childhood and youth I learned to work cheerfully and never complain while helping my disabled WWII veteran grandfather do life tasks he could not do for himself. The concept of giving up or doing less than my best has never made sense to me.

 

I am very grateful and try to give back to others what was given to me. It was a blessing to attend Princeton, be a college athlete, and to be able to pursue law school. I have been married 12 years to a life-long Marylander and we are raising two children in Churchville.

 

I am a hard worker and a traditional conservative. I have built several businesses and, as an attorney in private practice, I have represented thousands of Marylanders. I have coached lacrosse at the varsity high school level and both lacrosse and wrestling at the youth/rec level. I attend Churchville Presbyterian Church and have taught Vacation Bible School. I am a Lions Club member, volunteer with my church, and sponsor several Harford County charities personally and through my businesses.

I love Harford County! Harford residents deserve much better representation than the current county council has provided. I'm tired of special interests and the political scandals that they have caused. I promise to represent the RESIDENTS of District E and ONLY the residents of District E.
